Composed for the Musumeci-Greco Academy of Arms, the “Danza degli schermidori” was presented for the first time at the Teatro Quirino on 29/10/2011 during the Fencing Festival and at the Casa del Cinema in Rome on 31/03/2012 during the event “Enzo Musumeci Greco, the Master of Arms”. The piece is a tribute to the protagonists of fencing: the starting idea is to describe a dance-fight with very special “athletes”, the bowed instruments, which to duel have … the bow!!!
